Meet the Teacher
Miss Katrina discovered her love of ballet at a young age while attending a local dance school in Beckton, where she grew up.
Progressing through Ballet, Tap and Modern dance grades with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, Katrina then studied A Level dance at college. This introduced her to Contemporary dance, which she quickly grew to love also. During her training Katrina performed on a number of West End stages such as the Royal Albert Hall, as well as local theatres.
Katrina then studied at the Royal Academy of Dance completing a BA (Hons) Degree in Ballet Education, and gaining her Licentiate of the RAD.
Upon graduating, Katrina taught different genres at various dance schools for a number of years. This included preparing pupils for exams, performances and competitions.
Having taken a break from teaching to start a family, Katrina is excited to dip her toes back into the world of dance and share her love of this exciting art form!
